Actually I am not a big fan of honey. From the very childhood I always wait that honey tastes of condensed milk. But it does not. And it attacks taste buds with more power. But there are some honey sorts I can hoover up. I also like honey fairs and their plenty of sorts. Each honey sort is a unique union of origin, color, body, smell and taste. (Now I have a feeling of describing wine.)

We can endlessly look at fire. We understand the phenomenon of burning but this process of transformation still fascinates us.
Humans had domesticated fire long ago. Fire can give us warmth, meal and coziness. Cinders in the chimney are so cozy and comforting during long winter evenings. A funny Räuchermännchen is one of the Christmas attributes.

Please meet our next collection – “Metamorphosis”. It is about magic of a physical and chemical transformation, about power of nature, about eternity of life and about our choice.
The first wrap of the collection is Pine Cones Black Resin. The name leapt in my mind but I think I know its roots. It was inspired by two songs. First of all by the song “Штиль” of the Russian heavy metal band “Ария” (Aria, song “Calm”). For a very long time I knew only the version “Schtiel” sung by “Rammstein” we often listened to when sailing. But I like both versions. And in the song there are words “Штиль, сходим с ума, Жара пахнет чёрной смолой” which can be translated as “Calm, we are going mad, The heat is smelling of black resin”.
The second song is “Чужой” of the folk-rock band “Мельница” (Melnitsa, song “Chuzhoy”) and its words “Сосны видели сны, как им мачтами стать кораблей” (“Pine trees dreamed to become ship musts”).
Sailing theme is hard to avoid! Everything has got all mixed up – pines and resins, musts and sea…
Pine Cones Black Resin wrap is woven similarly to our patterns Marina and Grapes so it is tight but soft and with air reserve and after the first wash it will become even more airy. It is toddlerfriendly but soft enough for smaller babies. Black ELS cotton and Verde Kelly green Italian combed cotton make the wrap shiny.

The nature started creating of hard coal, black coal and brown coal hundreds million years ago. The oldest coals are known to be 400 million years old. Hard coal, or anthracite is the most metamorphosed one.

The history of humans is much shorter in comparison with those nature processes. But humanity has impacted environment significantly during its history.
