LOLLIK VINGER RACING GREEN // SEMI-CUSTOM RELEASE

We have yet another beautiful release to show you. It is inspired by the British Racing Green color that takes its name from the green international motor racing colour of the United Kingdom. The color is absolutely amazing and we are so proud to show you the final result.
The blend is a well known and loved Lollik classic (68% silk/ 32% cotton).

CUSTOM RELEASE

We are so happy finally to be able to show you one of our new custom releases Victory. Lollik Victory was created at Dansk Bærefestival last year by a mother who had an idea. We new from the moment she showed us the colors that this could be something truely amazing and we really wanted to help her make the dream come true.
This is the result. Stunning and so luxurious and the blend is a well known and loved Lollik classic (68% silk/ 32% cotton).

New Lollik regular release later this month. (Same blend as Daisy and DBtD / 68% silk and 32% cotton / appx 268 gsm)

This is our newest gem, Ruby being woven on the old jaquard loom in England. Ruby was made by a custom group in 2018 and is made from 63% cotton and 37% tussah silk.

All Ruby's has been shipped to their new homes. We are however lucky enough to have one ringsling, one size 6 and one size 7 left in our online

We are extremely proud and excited, finally to be able to share our latest custom wrap with you. Early Bird was designed by a group of Scandinavian mothers in September 2018. They wanted a fabric with deep green and teal colors inspired by the sea. They were really brave and we ended up creating an amazing new blend.

Lollik Early Bird is made from 45% tussah silk, 31% Wool and 24% Cotton. Gsm is about 340 prewash.

Lollik Root is made from 19% soft linen and 81% cotton. It is strong and can easily carry your toddler. Available in size 4, 6 and RS

We are so happy, finally to be able to introduce our newest member of the Lollik family, Daisy.

Daisy is a wrap that was started by a custom group earlier this year. It is woven on a white cotton warp with two silk wefts. A yellow shiny and elegant schappe silk combined with a white raw and textured buratti. Together they create not only the perfect grip, but also an amazingly luxurious look.

With a low gsm of 270 it is light in hand and suitable for newborns. This silk is super strong which makes it equally perfect for your toddler.

We are so proud, finally to be able to present our second custom release. We were asked to do our first custom a while back and luckily, we accepted. It has been such a wonderful process working with these brave mums and we are so pleased with the result. Being able to listen in on all the feedback and ideas, has been a true inspiration for us and we are so grateful to be able to finally release this beauty.

This wrap is based on a white cotton warp. The dark grey cotton weft is soft and shiny and it really compliments the raw light blue Buratti silk in the second weft. It is a bit of a chameleon and quite tricky to photograph. The color changes in different lights and the wrap takes color from the wearers clothes, almost like it is adapting. In sunlight the silk really gives this wrap a thick and silky look and in cloudy weather it almost becomes matt and raw, almost denim like. What we especially love about this wrap, is its wrap quality. This is a great blend, that has a perfect stretch and plenty of grip. Great for toddlers and the perfect jeans wrap for spring.

A while back we were contacted by a group of women who asked us to do a custom release and it didn’t take us long to accept. We have truly enjoyed this creative process and it has been a pleasure to work so closely with this group of amazing women and to get so much valuable feedback, knowledge and ideas in return.

The result was amazing. It’s a wrap with a black cotton warp and two silk wefts in anthracite colours. One weft is the gorgeous Buratti silk who has the most beautiful small nubs and a slightly rough appearance and the other weft is a dark grey smooth and shiny schappe silk, completely opposite of the Buratti. They work amazingly together. This was a new blend for us and we applaud how brave these women were, to create and buy something completely new and unexplored.

We are humbled and honered that you trusted us with this project and we would like to thank each one of you for your contributions and enthusiasm during this project. It has been so much fun and we hope that you will share some of your gorgeous action pics (that we know you have) in this thread or in our chatter group ‘Lollik Lounge’.

It is safe to say that summer has finally arrived. And along with it a lot of sun, ice creams and walks in the surrounding nature. In the area that we live in, there is a lot of small ponds. They attract the most amazing wildlife which is why we love to visit them with our kids who always wants to bring their small fish nets and a bucket and try and catch and study the animals they can find.
Storms favorite catch is definitely frogs. He is still too small to actually catch them himself, but he has learned that Isabell is more than willing to help him. They spot them together and she catch them with her little pink fish net. No doubt she finds them a bit disgusting, so she just hands the net to him while she secretly wrinkles her nose. Storm however, just takes them right out of her net and study each one closely before he eventually releases them back into the pond. It is so cute to see them work together.
Isabell is much more fascinated by the dragonflies and flowers. And at this season one flower in particular has understandably caught her eye; Lady's Mantle. Its yellow-green flowers are in bloom from June until August and covers the banks as a thick carpet of flowers. It is truly stunning and she is making large and beautiful bouquets for her mum.
Lady's Mantle has during history been used as a herbal remedy for both internal and external use and became a very popular wound herb on the battlefields during the 15th and 16th century. It was also known as a women's best friends because it was thought to cure a lot of womens diseases. Another fascinating thing about this flower is the story of how the medieval alchemists collected rain water beads from their cup formed leaves. They considered this water to be the purest form of water possible and they utilized it in their quest to turn base metal into gold. Hence its Latin name Alchemilla.
The color of this wrap is a mix of yellow-green and light grey. The shine of the silk reminds us of how the dewdrops shines on the leaves on a beautiful summer morning and the yellow takes us back to a hot summer day at the pond.
The blend is 13% silk and 87% Cotton and identical with our previous releases Magical Moment and Daiquiri. It is suitable for both newborns and toddlers.

Spring must simply be the best season of the year. After a long and cold winter, there are no words that can describe the feeling you get, when the first rays of sun strikes your face. The first time you can wrap your child, without the thick winter coat, and take the first walk in the forest and listen to the birds. All the energy fills you up and makes you look at the future with mildness and hope. The feeling is empowering and magical.
Here in Denmark, the spring has come early this year, and everywhere you look, you can find harbingers of spring. The flowers, the birds, the bees and the trees are all getting ready for the warmer weather to come and the change of scenery is so longed for. This wrap is our harbinger of spring to you and an omen of all the great blends to come during the summer months.
Harbinger of spring is made from soft cotton, combined with the finest and most luxurious merino wool. Since there is a lot of misconceptions when it comes to wearing merino wool in warmer seasons we would like to explain why we, here at Lollik HQ, believe that every parent should have a merino wrap for the warmer days. Did you for instance know that…
- Due to innovative breeding methods and modern textile processing, the merino wool used in this wrap is super soft and perfect for next-to-skin wear. Actually our tester guessed that this was a silk-blend.
- Merino is naturally extremely elastic which provides the perfect stretch and comfort that you need in babywearing. It also means that the fibres simply returns to their original state when used, so you will experience less creases in your Merino wrap and the most beautiful drape you have ever seen.

On a beautiful spring day almost 2 years ago we went to the hospital to give birth to our second child, a baby boy that we had grown to love even before we laid our eyes on him. The labour only took 2 hours and he was perfect. He was big and he was very handsome with the cutest dimples in both cheeks.
Storm was different than our daughter Isabell. He loved breastfeeding and could continue so for hours. He did not feel safe unless he was being held - even in his sleep. We really wanted to give him all the closeness and safety that he needed, but at the same time we saw how our daughter struggled with the change. When Storm was 3 months old, he already weight 10 kg and he was too heavy to carry around. We became desperate for a solution. This was when we finally discovered babywearing. Shortly after, we bought our first woven wrap. It became love at first fwcc. Storm instantly fell asleep like he knew exactly what to do, and Isabell had the greatest afternoon with her mum finally being able to swing her in the garden while taking care of her baby brother. This was the beginning of our love for babywearing.
