Stork - in the culture of the Slavs it is a creature associated with stimulation of fertility. Its appearance was identified with love, marriage and parenthood. It was believed that birds flying above the house heralded the upcoming birth. Special requests to the storks were used, such as "Stork, sharp stork, bring me two sisters". During the birth of a child, one person would dress up as a stork to wish the birthday boy and promise his parents another child. However, maidens were forbidden to look at storks for fear of getting pregnant.
To this day, the stork is associated with the arrival of a child in the world.
The Bociany Sling is different than any other - it is universal. Its colors are neutral, delicate, subtle, perfectly matching both the girl and the boy. The darker, beige side can be used every day, while the white one fits perfectly to such occasions as a christening or a wedding.
The multidimensionality of this scarf is best shown in its two-sidedness. Depending on how we put it on, we can achieve as many as four different effects: beige storks on white background or white storks on beige background and, similarly, beige or white feathers. Moreover, the pattern is distributed in such a way that the edges of the sling differ and make it easier for young mothers to learn how to tie their babies. However, Storks is not only dedicated to people beginning their adventure with slings, but also for mothers familiar with this subject. So one could be tempted to say that it is 6 slings in one.
While creating the first sling from the Newborn line I could not imagine any other pattern than storks. I am sure you will appreciate the unique softness of the wrap, its pattern and the wonderful silk in the composition, which highlights the lovely colorful confetti.

Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
In a place where youth is intertwined with maturity and dignity, and happiness and joy radiate to the horizon, only something beautiful and unique can arise. Inspired by grapevines and the beautiful color of their crops, I decided to weave a wrap where carefree is mixed with experience, all of which is sprinkled with freshness and love for nature.
Walking along the rows of vines and admiring the sunset among these picturesque views give the feeling of an exceptional time spent in beautiful natural surroundings, far from the city noise. Once again I experience the benefits of mother nature who, in her goodness, gives us everything she has the best. And while it takes time for a young vine to grow into a bush whose fruit will be the sweetest, it is something worth waiting for. How nice this waiting time can be when you spend it with your beloved family, and each day brings new joy. Each morning is a new opportunity to smile and love, to feel the longed-for bliss in the soul and warmth in the heart in the evening. The gratitude that filled me when I saw my children running among the grape bushes as the sun slowly disappeared below the horizon fills me to this day. Child's laughter and this youth, freshness and nature surrounding me delighted me immeasurably. There will be time for everything, the bushes will mature one day, but the opportunity to experience it all is a tremendous blessing.
The deep burgundy color of the wrap perfectly contrast with the tussah silk. Its honey, blue and pink numbs create a beautiful mosaic. The beige fern leaves, thistles, beetles and butterflies on this wrap are full of even the smallest details, forming one whole and integrating this beautifully woven wrap. „La foret vierge – Beaujolais Nouveau” I woved from cotton and my favorite tussah silk, which is famous for its enveloping qualities and is soft and strong at the same time. Thanks to this mixture, the wrap works perfectly, tightens well and looks phenomenal all the time. This wrap combines everything that I appreciate in my projects - exceptional softness, flexibility and unique design. It is perfect both for the first reeling of a newborn and for carrying older children - it is load-bearing and roomy, and when carrying a child in it, we almost do not feel its weight, because the material creates elastic cushions on shoulders that absorb the weight.
I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.

Hemp is robust, moisture and temperature regulating, combined with skin-friendly organic cotton, it makes a perfect blend for weaving great baby wraps. A bit stiff in the beginning, hemp blends break in beautifully and get soft and moldable. They are known for aging well; the more you wear them, the softer they become
