Just a head's up that this special Blanchi + Noir split weft piece of 'True' will be sold by email auction next week. This is the only 'True' wrap that was woven, and we wanted it to be a little bit 'Bright' and a little bit 'Moody', with the split weft gradient paying homage to the pin stripes of it's sister designs.
Like all Meeyoo wraps, 'True' is 100% cotton and woven and plain weave. It features many Meeyoo hand-dyed colors in the warp and was truly a labor of love. At 5.5m, it is a dream to wrap with, especially for multi-pass carries and fancy finishes.

Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
Nature is my greatest inspiration, it is an extremely important part of my life. My latest project symbolizes the inextricable bond between man and nature and the care that surrounds us. Its magic is in the air we inhale, and the spirit circulates around, letting us know through the rustle of leaves and the murmur that we can hear in the forest grove.
The motif of the moon in its various phases is a very strong amulet, an ancient power that I cannot resist. The Triple Moon symbolizes the stages of a woman's life and I used it in this pattern to show the magic of nature as the mother of all of us. Giving us generously with her gifts that continually enrich our lives. Mother Nature will undoubtedly always be our ally. We just need to open up to her and her tender embrace.
Parenthood is the essence of care and love. By wrapping your baby in this beautiful wild wrap, you will feel connected to this ancient power. The stately deer adorning the wrap is representative of the fauna, and the hand-drawn fern leaves, which are an amulet that brings good luck and guarantees a prosperous life, is one of my favorite eminent flora. „La protection” I woved from cotton and my favorite tussah silk, which is famous for its extraordinary qualities - its soft and strong at the same time. Thanks to this mixture, the wrap works perfectly, tightens well and looks phenomenal all the time. This wrap combines everything that I appreciate in my projects - exceptional softness, flexibility and unique design. It is perfect both for the first reeling of a newborn and for carrying older children - it is load-bearing and roomy.
I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.

Amazing, Sumeri Loden Cashmere artfully blends natural coloured cotton with warm, green Cashmere wool to create a sophisticated design that has graphic signs and symbols woven all over the wrap.

This magical galaxy pattern twinkles through a gorgeous organic cotton dark jewel grad which runs from midnight blue through burgundy and dark green to black. The constellations are picked out in alternating Shantung Tussah silk and bamboo yarns in natural white.

This luxurious fabric is wonderfully strong and supportive while also being soft and malleable in hand. It will give comfy carries for your little ones through toddlerhood and will need just a little bit of wear to become buttery soft.

Coloured flecks, a characteristic of this Shantung Tussah silk, make for a truly unique fabric that looks gorgeous up close. The trees in this pattern each represent part of the lineage of the White Trees. The original White Tree was much beloved by the Elves, it emanated silver light, and it is said the Moon was formed from its last silver flower. Each tree thereafter is seen to symbolise divine qualities of goodness, wisdom and purity.

A flowing script over the trees reads:

“Not all those who wander are lost,

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost”,

Quoting Bilbo’s poem “The Riddle Of Strider” in honour of Aragorn.
