BLOSSOM Not a Princess. A wrap that will rock the season. Natural mulberry silk and ethically sourced wool on purple organic cotton spinned to a soft and strong blend in a family spinning mill in Switzerland. If you look for a strong wrap with great grip and wrapping qualities, this wrap is for you. We like it with dark green silk skirt and a bright red knit but it will be your best friend with jeans and shirt. Strong middle weight, but feels surprisingly thin in hand.

A while back we were contacted by a group of women who asked us to do a custom release and it didn’t take us long to accept. We have truly enjoyed this creative process and it has been a pleasure to work so closely with this group of amazing women and to get so much valuable feedback, knowledge and ideas in return.

The result was amazing. It’s a wrap with a black cotton warp and two silk wefts in anthracite colours. One weft is the gorgeous Buratti silk who has the most beautiful small nubs and a slightly rough appearance and the other weft is a dark grey smooth and shiny schappe silk, completely opposite of the Buratti. They work amazingly together. This was a new blend for us and we applaud how brave these women were, to create and buy something completely new and unexplored.

We are humbled and honered that you trusted us with this project and we would like to thank each one of you for your contributions and enthusiasm during this project. It has been so much fun and we hope that you will share some of your gorgeous action pics (that we know you have) in this thread or in our chatter group ‘Lollik Lounge’.

How do you imagine a dragon looks like?
In my head it is an element in itself.
Power of wild nature, strength, wisdom and beauty.
A design for an extremely precise tattoo, that has sense only if it can be shown to the smallest detail.
Dragon, emerging from the black of the night with a subtle glow.
There are no colours here, only light-dark: black and silver-grey.The most elegant mix of colours, an absolute. A powerful symbol of ancient beliefs, the world of magic.
It developed for many days in my head. I drew it scale by scale until it became as you can see it now.
What can be said about how does it feel to the touch?The colours reassemble all of it. Velvet black of the night is so soft that one wants to sink into it. The dragon has the rawness of silver, delicate glow, roughness of a scale. It is difficult to compare it to anything else, but have you ever before had an opportunity to cover yourself with dragon wings?

The blend I chose is the perfect completion of this motif;
65% wild, organic, Portuguese combed cotton,
35% tussah, 260 gsm. Oeko-tex 100certificated.

What about its carrying capacity? An infant falls asleep calmly in the arms of a dragon, and a few-years-old weighs no more than a feather.
Have you ever seen a dragon? You will not see many of my dragons.
I always pay attention to the smallest details and quality – each of my wraps has a dragons head exactly at the middle of the wrap, regardless the size. Because of that, there are even less wraps of this design than of my other projects.

Chris is a colourful wrap thanks to the use of plied yarn Dekka plied multicolour intertwining neon pink and neon orange, and lighter and darker blue. The resulting effect is breathtaking. Chris is composed of polyester and Egyptian combed cotton yarns – the polyester yarn provides softness and easy maintenance as well as it speeds up the drying. The wrap is fluffy and supportive, suitable for children from 6kg up but an experienced wrapper can use it from a new-born.

Dears, do you remember a fairy tale about a fiery redhead princess called Merida? We love it and the wrap's color reminds us this character very much, hence the name of the wrap. It is a mixture of 30% of orange merino wool and 70% of combed cotton. The weight is about 280g/m2. The wrap is very soft and and supportive txs to merino. We can recommend it for children of any age.

The wrap is woven in a timeless colour combination of strawberry red and write, which together both contrast and compliment each other. The Plectrum pattern is composed of simplified clover leaves spread out on the wrap like on a meadow. Here and there one of the leaves is switched for the Dekka logo, which looks a bit like a plectrum. The wrap is woven in a Jacquard technique in Dekka Triweave which provides its unique characteristics of fluffiness and supportiveness. I am following Tara's adventures for many years now. Tara is a boat dedicated to scientific studies of climate changes impact on the oceans.

In 2006, Tara went to arctic ocean and slowly drifted through the ice field for two years and 1800km.

On board, Vincent Hilaire, photographer, followed the scientists. He caught in an incredible way this boat stranded on the ice during the polar night. Black, grey and yet so much light diffracted by the ice.

These images inspired "Aquarelle d'une nuit polaire". We used on one side a black weft on a black warp to obtain an intense and pure color. On the other side, we used a grey weft on a beige warp, like the moon light going through the grayness.

"Aquarelle d'une nuit polaire" was weaved in small quantities but it will be the first wrap of our semi-permanent collection so it will be re-weaved next winter.

Wildwood pre-order

By now you would have seen our travelling Wildwood wraps and if you have wondered how you can get hold of one then you need to keep reading.

Our newest design, Wildwood started life as a mature lime (Tilia) tree and has been transformed into a beautiful branching pattern which can be worn with the 'branches' going up to the sky, or as 'roots' reaching the ground.

We wanted to create something which was from nature but represented the connections we all make with each other throughout our own journeys in the babywearing community. The branching pattern was perfect, it can be found in maths, in science and in art. It's almost everywhere around us from the magnificent rivers of the world, the branches of a great oak tree or the blood vessels which give us all life. It also perfectly symbolises the wonderful community of caregivers who are raising the next generation of adventurers.

We are going to be offering these wraps as a pre-order in the new year! Wildwood comprises of an organic luxury Egyptian combed cotton warp, with a tussah silk weft. The pre-order will be available in the colours of our travelling tester; ecru cotton and navy tussah BUT there will also be another option!

Because this run of Wildwood is a pre-order it means we can offer a larger range of sizes so you will be able to order from a size 3 to a size 9, and we'll also offer ring slings and shawls.

Payment will be required as an initial deposit of 60% at the time of ordering, then two subsequent payments of 20%.
