Cela fait si longtemps qu’on l’attendait ! Et là, elle est parfaite
La difficulté du motif Utopie, c’est qu’il comporte des effets chaînes. C’est très intéressant au portage car cela densifie le lien entre les 2 couches de tissage, créé des points d’encrage et améliore la soutenance sans augmenter l’épaisseur.
Le « problème », c’est que cela rend la couleur de la chaîne visible. Lorsque la chaîne est noire et blanche, le noir apparaît dans les ombrelles et grise un peu le dessin.
Ici, la chaîne utilisée et vert sapin et écrue, exactement de la même couleur que la trame. L’effet chaîne devient invisible tout en conservant ses qualités de portage
Le rendu est une couleur absolument pure puisqu’elle est identique en chaîne et en trame.
Pour les connaisseuses, c’est la même teinte utilisée pour Forest in the air, mais c’est la seule fois que nous l’avons mixée avec une chaîne de la même couleur. La couleur est plus intense que pour Utopie Mary, franchement verte et non teintée de turquoise.
Utopie d’une oasis est luxuriante, d’une élégance simple et lumineuse.
