Presenting a beautiful new handwoven collaboration with Fiona Daly. This is a very thick, blankety sling weighing over 370gsm. Yet it utilises very fine yarns and incredibly intricate patterns, including bands of pattern work along the borders and across the width. This is the original tester run and so prices have been reduced accordingly. This cloth is handwoven by Fiona in her studio in Edinburgh on a 16 shaft manual dobby loom, taking 7 hours per metre to weave. Patterns are inspired by traditional Shetland patterns and geometric designs. Fabric content : 60% Merino wool and 40% organic cotton. 1 size 5, 1 size 2 and 1 ring sling were woven.
At Oscha Slings we produce beautiful, high quality wrap around slings (wraps) & ring slings that are carefully designed and developed for you to carry your baby. Our fabric is woven in the UK and Ireland, and then hand-crafted into babywearing slings in Scotland.
