The Loch Ness Monster is a cryptic, a creature whose existence has been suggested but has only been discovered or documented by a small community. The community regards Nessie as a modern-day myth, and explains sightings as including misidentifications of more mundane objects, outright hoaxes, and wishful thinking.
We would like to introduce another wrap made from our special luxury Bourette silk and Egyptian cotton - this a dense, very cushy wrap, with fantastic bounce - The legend of Nessie!
Nessie will soften significantly after its first wash becoming more supple and moldable. Please NOTE, Nessie contains silk and should be washed by hand and with minimal or no ringing or spinning. A medium weight wrap weighing approximately 320 gr/m2 after washing and wearing.
Nessie will arrive unfinished and they will benefit from a wash.
Nessie will provide tender softness for newborns but will hold strong, cushy and sturdy for toddlers. Due to the deep weave and dense texture, Nessie may feel narrower and will measure narrower after washing. So please do not try and catch this myth if you like ultra-wide wraps. The density and weave make Nessie an exceptionally good Ring Sling- perfect for squishes and toddlers alike.

My vision for wraps wasn’t simply to introduce another wrap to the market. Woven Wings Baby wraps are woven in the UK in a renowned Mill specialising solely in bespoke high-end quality textiles. Established since 1720 working in collaboration with luxury Fashion houses and couture designers they produce fabrics that are of the highest quality and demand. Fibres are carefully and ethically sourced, and all yarns are dyed in-house allowing for one-of-kind colours. Some of my wraps will feature our non-chemical luxurious finish which makes them blankety soft straight out of the bag and requires no breaking in.
