Pour éviter de feutrer la laine, il est primordial de laver votre écharpe à la main, en évitant les écarts de température (à froid) et les agitations.

Les habitué.es de Tinge Garden connaissent l’histoire : le modèle Sissi correspond au prototype de Sophie’s Garden. Le prototype a été réalisé en 2016, avec exactement la même composition et tissage, en seulement deux exemplaires. Il a rencontré un très grand succès à l’époque.

Quand l’atelier de tissage m’a signalé qu’il restait encore quelques bobines de ce fil cachemire / lin si précieux, je savais que je voulais recréer la même écharpe que le prototype. C’est un modèle qui est très facile à manipuler et pas moins soutenant que “sa grande sœur” Sophie. Il demande une petite période de rodage : vous devez l’utiliser quelques fois pour bien assouplir les fibres.

Une fois rodée, il convient également aux parents débutants et pour porter un petit bébé. Si vous venez à l’événement Happy Milk le 27 octobre à Paris, vous aurez la possibilité d’expérimenter la douceur du prototype rodé : une pure merveille !

Sissi contient 14 % de lin. La présence des nœuds de lin et des variétés dans l’épaisseur du fil est tout à fait normal.

Dans ce modèle vous trouverez du lin. Il s’agit d’une matière naturelle et brute ; le tissage laisse percevoir ces fibres dans leur couleur d’origine. Apparaissent également des nœuds, et à certains endroits, le fil est plus épais. Il serait dommage de considérer comme des défauts ce qui est en fait la manifestation de la beauté au naturel. Son aspect rustique sera particulièrement apprécié par les amoureux des objets authentiques.

Ce nouveau tissage, nous l’avons développé sur la base de retour d’expérience dans le domaine de plus de 5 ans. Il offre à la fois souplesse et soutient. Le résultat est une écharpe polyvalente, souhaitable à partir de la naissance (après un petit rodage) jusqu’à la fin du portage.

Au lancement de Tinge Garden, en 2013, créer des écharpes de portage était pour moi une passion, avant de finalement devenir mon métier. L’envie de partager cette passion m’a tout naturellement mené à raconter l’histoire à l’origine de chaque modèle. Avec le temps, j’ai réalisé que j’étais pionnière sur ce point, même au niveau international. Raconter l’histoire de chaque modèle est maintenant devenu quelque chose de très « frenchie » dans le monde des écharpes ; et je suis très fière d’avoir inspiré les jeunes marques françaises.

Artiste (qui rime avec Alice) est fait de 100 % coton peigné Oeko-Tex avec un tissage double gaze fin et aéré. Son grammage sera de 280 g/m² après le premier lavage qui va gonfler les fils et donnera à votre écharpe sa texture froissée, si particulier au tissu double gaze.

Une écharpe douce et facile à nouer, en noir et gris chiné qui convient aux parents débutant dans le portage. Si vous voudriez porter un bambin avec, prévoyez une écharpe longue pour faire un nouage en double couche !

It was very tempting to name it Mango- Raspberry, since it reminds me very much of a yummy ice-cream. However, I designed this wrap for Julie, respecting the nomad living inside her and hiding inside me. Being a nomad does no necessary mean to be always on the way. Being a nomad means that your heart is open to new things, other people, or to the world. It also means of course that you set off for a journey, but especially overcome yourself. Turning to the unknown and to the different with childish curiosity without any prejudice.
To meet. To stop. To enjoy the moment.
To discover something new and remote before leaving the old for a new. Just like to taste an exotic mango ice-cream.

Selon le dictionnaire, la brise est « un vent doux, alternant entre la mer et la terre ».
Cette définition m’est apparue comme un nom parfait pour une écharpe estivale doté d’un tissage léger et aéré.
De plus, elle fait écho à la vie de Nolwenn dont la brise de sa vie l’emporte parfois vers la Guinée, où elle a établi sa nouvelle vie et parfois vers la France, où se trouvent ses racines.
Comme ici, à Honfleur, dans la ville de sa grand-mère où elle vient pour passer du temps en famille et pour vous présenter « l’écharpe de l’été » de Tinge Garden, sous l’objectif du photographe Cédric Grisel.

When I was a child I had a dream that as an adult I will live in a house in the middle of a forest. The most amusing holidays were those I spent in the remotest parts of the world. When I became older I studied biology and ecology at the university. I planned to work in a national park. Finally, my life became different, and the house in the middle of the forest only remained a child’s dream. However, it didn’t remain a dream for Aline. My dream is presumably her reality. The days of her life, spent with her three sons in the wild throughout the changing seasons, have been documented at her Instagram account @urnaturaen. What comes in your mind when you look at this model? It reminds me of the reflection of the pink sky on the waves at the island of Belle-Ile-en-Mer. The pink reflection in our case is the fuchsia, warp; whereas flamed cotton stands for the waves in the blue sea.

Do you remember that last year we tested a number of yarns? Out of those, the special cashmere/linen blend raised the highest interest; due to its wonderful sky-blue colour and its special combination effect. The final model is the result of a number of tests and brainstorming. I chose the triweave technique since its characteristic features are the best for babywearing. I wanted to preserve the wonderful blue colour, that’s why I paired it with an undyed organic cotton.
I recommend Sophie’s Garden to parents who are experienced babywearers. After the wrap was broken in, it will be suitable for newborn babies, too. The cashmere/linen yarn has linen nubs and slubs. However, it would be a mistake to consider these as defects since they are actually the manifestations of natural beauty.
For the time of the photo session we worked together with the brand Y Konszept, the owner of which is the designer Eszter-Virág Meyer. She relooks old denim jackets by unique drawings, therefore she casts her vote to recycling by the means of art. The simultaneous release of Sophie’s Garden and the launching of Y Konszept for Kids gave a handle for a common photo shooting, with the contribution of our common friend, a mother of two children, Daria and the photo expert team Just Stay Natural.

This model presents a heavyweight and dense weaving. I do not recommend it for small babies but it will delight toddlers and their parents.

Similarly to Maja Madarasi, the creator of special cakes, Tinge Garden assorted the components of its first quad blend model with utmost care.

The silk/babycamel blended yarn is 100% produced in Switzerland with the prestigious “Swiss Mountain Silk” label attached. The spinning mill, established in 1846, is actually held by the fifth generation of the founder’s family. This is a place where tradition and modernity go hand in hand: the mill is nearly CO2 neutral mainly due to its independent hydroelectricity production.

As concerns cashmere we had had doubts for a long time. This yarn has been indisputably popular thanks to its softness and warmth. Furthermore, the cashmere goat is a strong and austere animal; keeping them could be sustainable. However, the intensive breeding of animals is that makes huge harm to the environment. Based on the aforementioned, we made a decision that our products will contain cashmere exceptionally and in low percentage, combining it with other fibers. It was also important for us that the mixed yarn was produced in Europe. This is how we found Nicola’s spinning mill in Italy, where she, driven by real passion, creates her subtle mixed yarns.

With its 350 g/m², this model has a very high density, but due to the fluidity of the fabric, it is suitable even for carrying a newborn baby. Silk is a very supportive material and gives an incomparable brilliance that enchants the eyes.

A l’inverse de son "jumeau", Illusion Sky ! qui est un modèle absolument polyvalent, Galaxy Garden est plutôt recommandé pour les porteurs expérimentés et amoureux de la laine brute. Cette écharpe demande du rodage mais en échange, ses confettis égayeront vos yeux et elle vous tiendra chaud à vous et à votre bambin cet hiver.
