Jacquards are usually made by machines, but rarely on handlooms, which makes this even more special and unique.

This sling is very strong and supportive, yet soft at the same time. It is moldable, fluffy and super cushy, it has a wonderful diagonal stretch. It is lightweight and airy, it feels medium thick in hand. It needs a little work to tie, but once done- it will stay in place forever and give you super comfort for long cuddles!

It will be a perfect ring sling both for smaller babies and for heavy toddlers – you can use it throughout your babywearing journey!

We care for our Planet, so we search for most eco-friendly and sustainable solutions. Since the world is wasting about a billion tons of banana stems each year, we want to use some of it to upcycle them into this amazing yarn. So, not only is this blend favorable to our environment, but it also has exceptional qualities.

It has an amazing, wild and uneven, sometimes striped structure, with lots of nubs, irregularities and curls. This brings life to fabric and creates a raw and fabulous look, very different from all other fibers.

Tie-dyed Handwoven 30% Cashmere, 20% Banana silk, 50% Cotton, approx. 350gsm.

The yarn is tie-dyed with a gorgeous mixture of aubergine and shades of pink, and the fringes are finished with beautiful beads and pearls, creating this amazing look!

Extremely moldable and super soft from the beginning, yet still so strong. Heavy, but thin in hand. Classic and timeless twill weaving.

Banana silk – the most shiny part of the banana fiber, it feels and looks like silk; it is ecofriendly and recycled from wasted banana stems.
Cashmere – butter soft and thermoregulatory, making it a perfect year-rounder;
Cotton – highly elastic workhorse.

It has a wonderful glide and is super easy to tie, making it a perfect choice for both newborns and bigger babies.

This time you can choose from two options:
loose weave for babies/toddlers and tight weave for toddlers/preschoolers.
Tight-strong as a horse and gives outstanding support. Loose-more mouldable and softer. Both cushy, both comfy, both snuggly and cuddly, both amazing! A perfect choice for fall and winter to keep you and your little one warm and cosy, and your child will feel weightless during long cuddles and walks.

We decided not to use Viscose, because it is not ecofriendly, so it will be a little less fluffy than previous Deluxe, but still so cushy!

Many of our experienced testers have called this ring sling “the very best sling they have ever tried”.
The world is wasting about a billion tons of banana stems each year, Löft uses some of the stems to make this amazing textile eco-friendly.
This is the 3. edition of our very popular handwoven ring sling- Shiva, named after the weaver who made the first sample. This version is softer than previously.
The banana fiber is strong, soft and lightweight, almost feels like wool. When mixed with cotton, it creates a very supportive ring sling with a good grip.
It is strong and perfect for bigger babies and toddlers.
The banana fiber is undyed, so you can see the beautiful nuances of the natural fiber, going from off-white to beige.
The banana has a wild and uneven structure with lots of nubs, irregularities and curls that looks like pulls. This creates a raw and cool look, very different from all other fibers. No threads are endless, you can see the thread shift by the edges. Sometimes the banana structure changes, and it will gain a striped structure. Every sling is different and unique.

A Löft product is made by humans, not machines. No hands are perfect and no threads are endless, so there might be visible thread shifts, small knots and other irregularities. This is the beauty of a handwoven product. Every piece is unique.
To limit the use of plastic and unnecessary packing, your ring sling/wrap will come in an handwoven organic drawstring bag. When you wear your baby on the front, you can carry diapers and food in the drawstring on the back.
When your carrying days are over, we recommend that you pass on the ring sling/wrap to other parents or make it into your favorite scarf, embracing all the memories of you carrying your baby.

Our very first handwoven jacquard in 50% banana and 50% cotton blend. Approximately 490gsm (but don’t be mislead by numbers – banana is very lightweight and airy, despite high gsm it feels medium thin in hand).

It is light and airy. Hand dyed, gorgeous, classy and elegant, a beautiful shade matching everything else.

In Löft, the Weavers do everything manually, from the beginning to the very end. Since all is made with their own hands, it often gives a surprising, unique outcome – and this time we got four slightly different shades! It is butter soft, soapy, cushy and bouncy. The cashmere and the silk help to regulate the body temperature of you and your child, so you can wear the ring sling the whole year round. It is perfect for both bigger babies and toddlers.

It is soft from beginning and the weavers have washed it, so it is ready to use.

Super soft, very strong and has a little shine!

A classic timeless twill weaving in black and white with long handmade fringes. The fringes are made by the weaver’s sister- Kamala.

This new blend is amazing. It is very soft and feels heavy but yet thin in hand. It has a wonderful glide that makes it very easy to tie and perfect for newborns and bigger babies.

The Banana silk is the most shiny part of the banana fiber, it feels and looks like silk. The banana is an ecofriendly fiber, because it is recycled from wasted banana stems.

The cashmere is butter soft and helps regulate the body temperature of you and your child, so you can wear the ring sling the whole year around. The cotton is a workhorse, with an ideal elasticity.

A lighter version of our popular Bishnu, handwoven by our Nepalese weaver Bishnu.

The combination of the classic black color and exclusiveness of the cashmere make this the perfect ring sling. The silk has a different shade of black, which highlights the beautiful Herringbone pattern.

Bishnu Light is very easy to handle and adjust- it is perfect for beginners or experienced wrappers who need a sling that can be tied in a second.

It is butter soft, bouncy and strong. The cashmere and the silk help to regulate the body temperature of you and your child, so you can wear the ring sling the whole year round.

It is perfect for both newborns and bigger babies.
