LF300, 3m long, 67cms wide, raw selvages, blunt hemmed tails, hand-stamped middle marker labels. A lush blend: 30% organic cotton, 25% merino, 20% organic linen, 15% silk, 10% seacell. The tweedy grey weft was hand-dyed in house.

LF317 has an ethically sourced fine merino weft in a warm shade of plum and measures 4.9m long x 67cm wide. 50% mercerised cotton, 50% merino; medium-thin in weight.

With a mercerised cotton warp paired with an organic cottohemp weft, hand-dyed taupe and rainbow colours, this piece has a subtle variegated effect, a lovely drape and is easy to wrap already. Crackle weave.

A Griswold crackle with a fine mercerised cotton warp and a silk merino blend weft in a shade named Juniper, 5m.
I particularly love how this finer weft makes the pattern look almost like lace!

Midnight From the Astronomy Tower
We love the effect of dyeing warp yarns in skeins rather than chains; although there is a lot of extra work involved in preparing the yarn first for dyeing then for warping, it's well worth the extra hours for a more subtle effect.
This warp is spun silk in turquoise and fuchsia with cottohemp, Egyptian cotton, silk/merino and merino wefts, all hand-dyed in house, with a sprinkling of sparkle threads.

The very last piece of Yvaine is an infinity loop scarf with a merino weft in jewel-toned shades of teal, purple and fuchsia on a silver and grey warp.
With an overall fibre composition of 25% Pima cotton, 25% Tencel and 50% merino, woven in a complex starburst crackle weave, this luxurious piece is perfect for a January pick-me-up!

The wefts have been hand-dyed in-house in colours inspired by Yvaine's gowns in the film version of Stardust, whilst the delicate, all manually-treadled 82 step pattern repeat swirling crackle weave makes for a light, airy but supportive and luxuriously soft wrap.

LF291 is 5 metres of shimmery monochrome blend in luxurious Pima cotton, lyocell (Tencel) organic cotton and hemp, with the black weft being hand-dyed in-house.
At 291 gsm this is medium-thin (for a handwoven gsm always sounds higher than it wraps!) with the gorgeous texture of Sally Breckenridge's swirling crackle weave.
