All Wraps

West 4th Tranquility is now being woven.
Semi-custom spots are available until April 6, 2017. Yesterday we wove these two wraps with a khaki green weft and our natural flax weft.

Our PAXexclusive Rainbows for Days was inspired by the amazing scientific phenomenon of the double rainbow. As with all double rainbows the first arc is vivid with stark contrast between the colors while the second is typically less vibrant with blended colors. Similarly, Rainbow for Days, hand woven by West of the Fourth JUST for PAXbaby, features two rainbows, one with clean color changes and one that is a blend of color.

Rainbows for Days is a handwoven wrap, made in Canada, using a ring spun American cotton warp and West of the Fourths signature super soft flax and tencel weft yarn. Nancy weaves on her loom often with her baby, Thryn, on her back and her husband, Corwyn at her side. The creation of this beautiful exclusive wrap is a cumulation of years of friendship between West of the Fourth and PAXbaby, and it is our pleasure to welcome these wraps to our beautiful rainbow line up!

Dusk is grey grad woven wrap baby carrier that is light grey on one edge and progresses to dark charcoal on the opposite edge. Dusk is the darker version with a charcoal hue to it. Dusk is a woven baby carrier in our Accessible line of baby wrap carriers.

Morning Mist is a wrap from our Accessible Collection. Morning Mist is a turquoise to peacock blue grad with a natural cotton weft. The Accessible wraps are a machine woven replica of Nancy's handwoven cotton fabric. These wraps have a small hemmed rail that is not noticeable when wrapping. All of our Accessible wraps are 100% cotton and easy to care for with regular machine wash and tumble dry recommended.

New Beginnings is a wrap from our Accessible Collection. New Beginnings is classic rainbow grad with a natural cotton weft.

Our Accessible wraps are a machine woven replica of Nancy's handwoven cotton fabric. These wraps have a small hemmed rail that is not noticeable when wrapping. All of our Accessible wraps are 100% cotton and easy to care for with regular machine wash and tumble dry recommended.

West 4th Tribute to Mothers
Tribute to Mothers is the combination of Nancy's favorite colour, orange and her mom's favorite colour, pink, and the pureness of natural cotton to represent the new born baby. One rail is orange and grads through natural in the center. The natural transitions to a solid pink section on the other rail. This wrap has two distinctive presentations when tied.... a pink one and an orange one.... depending on which side you choose as your top rail.
All of our West 4th Accessible Wraps are 100% cotton and are machine woven in a plain weave. Why are our wraps plain weave? Its simple.... Nancy's fabric is perfect for wrapping your little ones and holding them close.
Tribute to Mothers, and each of our Accessible wraps, use the same cotton as our handwoven wraps, they wrap just like our handwoven wraps with the prefect amount of glide to allow you to make perfect passes and the right amount of grip to make sure your wrap is secure.
All of our Accessible wraps come with the unique babywrap features that Nancy developed while leading the resurgence in handweaving of baby wraps... her unique innovations such as distinctive rails so you know which side of the wrap to tighten and a middle marker, our folded "W", to help you easily find the middle to start wrapping!
All of our wraps come in our size small (3.0m), medium small (3.8m), medium (4.2m) large (4.6m) and XLarge (5.2m) as well as in a ring sling with our gathered shoulder.

A new line from West of the 4th Weaving- The Accessible Collection! The Accessible wraps are machine woven from 100% cotton with a barely-there 1/4 inch hemmed rail. They maintain many of the qualities of West of the 4th handwovens while having the lower cost of a machine woven! I am so excited about this collection and all of the colorways!
