This beautiful recycled wool and organic cotton fabric features our newest design, Hobbit™ Quest on a stunning forest green backdrop. This design shows a section of The Hobbit as the Dwarves and Bilbo travel to the Lonely Mountain (which you can see in the background), they have passed through the Misty Mountains and it shows their escape from Mirkwood, down Forest River into the Long Lake in barrels. This beautiful pattern was designed in collaboration with Cari Johnston, the winner of our Middle Earth design competition.
Ecowool is a recycled wool yarn made from post-consumer waste. This sustainable yarn represents 98% less environmental impact when compared to regular wool. It is strong and supportive, with temperature regulating properties to keep you warm on cold days, and cool in warm weather. This eco friendly fabric has a good balance of grip and glide and a nice cush for the shoulders making it perfect for carrying bigger children of all ages.

As described by our tester, this Superwash cashwool and organic cotton fabric feels “snuggly and soft straight out of the bag without any prickle and is oh so drapey”. Mouldable and thin in hand, it is suitable for children of all ages, including newborns, and will be a lovely choice for beginners as it is easy to wrap with.
Willow Neoma is woven on a rich brown mirrored grad warp, inspired by comforting autumnal drinks such as hot chocolate and coffee. It is completed with fresh green leaves and branches glistening through the dark backdrop for a mesmerising effect.
Superwash wool is an easy care wool yarn which gives a woolie softness and support, while being lovely and mouldable in hand. It also lends a very gentle cush to this fabric. Wool’s temperature regulating properties will keep you warm on cooler days but will also keep you cool in warm weather.

After a while our very first "sparkling hearts" pattern is back!

On charcoal black organic cotton warp we weave burgundy red Italian merino wool and cardinal purple linen. This combination forms an exquisite color of aubergine purple, warm and elegant.

The sensation is unique, which only the handcrafted weaving can give. The presence of wool gives softness while linen makes everything supportive and functional. The fabric is soft, pliable, thin but supportive thanks to linen.

Our unique weave that combines 2 pure yarns at the same time (linen yarn and merino wool yarn) highlights the best features of these fabulous natural materials, which industrially blended yarns cannot offer.

Classic dark navy with white mulberry silk and warm and cozy wool. One of our most loved blend for lovers of cushy, cloudy wraps. App. 300 gsm, but due to it is softness it is suitable for all baby sizes. 51% organic cotton, 34% super wash wool and 15% mulberry silk. Hand wash or machine wash on wool program.

Lavage à la main uniquement !
Pour éviter de feutrer la laine, il est primordial de laver votre écharpe à la main, en évitant les écarts de température (à froid) et les agitations.

Les habitué.es de Tinge Garden connaissent l’histoire : le modèle Sissi correspond au prototype de Sophie’s Garden. Le prototype a été réalisé en 2016, avec exactement la même composition et tissage, en seulement deux exemplaires. Il a rencontré un très grand succès à l’époque.

Quand l’atelier de tissage m’a signalé qu’il restait encore quelques bobines de ce fil cachemire / lin si précieux, je savais que je voulais recréer la même écharpe que le prototype. C’est un modèle qui est très facile à manipuler et pas moins soutenant que “sa grande sœur” Sophie. Il demande une petite période de rodage : vous devez l’utiliser quelques fois pour bien assouplir les fibres.

Une fois rodée, il convient également aux parents débutants et pour porter un petit bébé. Si vous venez à l’événement Happy Milk le 27 octobre à Paris, vous aurez la possibilité d’expérimenter la douceur du prototype rodé : une pure merveille !

Sissi contient 14 % de lin. La présence des nœuds de lin et des variétés dans l’épaisseur du fil est tout à fait normal.

I cycled past a field of bracken this morning that reminded me of the Firecrest weft, so I stopped to take a picture! Tamsin and I were talking yesterday about how we're often drawn back to the same colours when designing our wraps, and I think they are a reflection of the colour palette of the landscape we live in... Firecrest Mercury Microcosm and the rest of the Mercury collection will be in our shop from Monday 21st October!
