Each wrap from my summer no cotton collection that I present to you every week has a different story behind it. Each of them is close to my heart - after all, I spent several months creating this collection - choosing the right fibers, designing patterns and finally - choosing colors. Everything fits together like a Swiss watch. Thank you for all the kind words you say to me, thanks to which I know that my work goes directly to your hearts, and that we are one big family, the group of free spirits with wildness in our hearts.
The wrap that I am presenting today is one of my most sophisticated designs. When I look at this wrap, I feel the warmth of the summer rays on my skin, it reminds me of a wonderful, carefree holiday time. This wrap is a small piece of art thanks to its handmade fringes. I am extremely proud that I managed to enchant so many wonderful emotions and memories in it. Certainly, you too will add your own piece of history to this stunning wrap. "Jardin secret" is a design that emerged from love to wild nature. You can see a turquoise hummingbird, flickering his wings over the flowers' buds. A dragonfly, glistering in many shades of blue, hides between the leaves. Appetizing, juicy apples proudly flaunt in shades of royal red and burgundy. If you look closely, you will see a small snail which, together with the beautiful leaves, form a coherent and delightful whole. I wanted to show the delicacy and elusiveness of the beauty that is nature. To present it in its most beautiful form, in an infinite symbiosis, the suspension of the moment, the freezing of that one special second.
What gives this whole composition additional uniqueness is its fabulously yellow background. The warmth of this color beats off the wrap, this sunny sand shade of yellow is interspersed with a gorgeous colored tussah that creates a mosaic full of lovely bumps. Of course, sunny yellow is associated with summer, but the magic stone whose power I enchanted in this wrap is beryl, a beautiful gemstone in this color. With his magic, he protects the owner during distant trips, as a symbol of love and fidelity - he cares for the whole family, with his power influencing the building of deep and mature bonds. Let this wonderful stone look after you and your baby - additional protection for mother nature is the greatest gift from the universe.
I used noble linen and two shades of tussah to weave this wrap, so the wrap is full of this fine silk. Bamboo admixture makes the wrap have bactriocidal, anti-static, anti-fungal properties, at the same time it absorbs moisture well, which makes it even suitable for hot summer days. This wrap has as usual unique and noble blend, very soft, ideal for newborns and toddlers as well. Thanks to its extraordinary composition it will be perfect for a newbie, but even while wearing a few-year-old toddler, you will not feel their weight. Magic also happens after you wash the wrap. Suddenly it changes its structure, it becomes springy, soft and flexible.
I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.
