This goddess is my tribute to one of the most powerful transitions of two lifetimes--that of a baby and a mother being born--and was inspired by the fact that we are part of a divine spark that connects all things. When is that better manifested than in the beautiful, strong, heavy and often difficult reality of pregnancy and birth? I originally planned to call this wrap Stardust as it shows our connection to the stars which is both physical and metaphysical. It also shows the baby's journey earthside to our arms and that transcendental place a mother might find herself while birthing that may or may not look peaceful to outside observers.
Birthing Goddess is being woven in blue and white 100% cotton by Joy and Joe and is manufactured entirely in the UK. The weave is similar in density to a Natibaby wrap--it is fairly tight and even with similar stretch and support.
Perfect for front, back, and hip carries for newborns through toddlers.
